Задачи урока:

Познавательный аспект:

1. познакомить обучающихся со страноведческим материалом по теме «Добро пожаловать в Нью-Йорк»;

2. способствовать расширению кругозора обучающихся в сфере культуры страны изучаемого языка;

3. стимулировать деятельность обучающихся по средством просмотра видео по теме урока.

Учебный аспект:

1. учить выражать личное мнение об увиденном;

2. учить отвечать на вопрос;

3. совершенствовать навыки аудирования;

4. совершенствовать лексические навыки употребления в речи названий достопримечательностей Нью-Йорка.

Социокультурный аспект:

1. познакомить обучающихся с достопримечательностями и историческими местами Нью-Йорка.

Развивающий аспект:

1. развивать память, внимание, наблюдательность, логическое мышление обучающихся;

2. развивать умение определять основную и второстепенную информацию;

You can visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art that is next to Central Park and have lunch at The Boat House.

Times Square is noisy and crowded in comparison to Central park. There are a lot of people, lights and much to do at Times Square.

Bubba Gump Shrimpis a good restaurant, you should try it. Times Square is not far from Broadway.

Broadway is famous for its shows. You can meet a lot of popular actors here. People come on Broadway to enjoy live music and acting.

Manhattan is an island, it’s separated from other 4 districts by bays and rivers. The easiest way to get to Manhattan is by taking the Brooklyn Bridge. Its architecture is beautiful. People like it as a symbol of Brooklyn and New York. From it we can see a lot of New York City, the Statue of Liberty, New Jersey, Staten Island, the Chrysler Building and other famous skyscrapers.

New York is probably the best place to spend a day out because of New York’s diversity.
