Слово Alone может использоваться в функции прилагательного или наречия . в какой бы функции оно не использовалось . оно не означает « один ( олна0». « без кого-либо( без других людей) вокруг», « сам(а) по себе»
Например: helikeslivingalone
Ему нравится жить одному.
I think we’re alone now. =There are just the two of us.
Думаю, мы одни. = Тут только мы двое
Lonely –это прилагательное, которое означает « несчастная. из-за того что никого больше нет рядом»
Например:
The house feels lonely now that all the children have left home.
Теперь, когда все дети ушли домой, в этом доме одиноко.
Обратите внимание
Если человек – Alone (один, без других людей вокруг), это вовсе не значит, что ему Lonely (что он чувствует себя одиноко).
